So in our chronological study of film, we are now *finally* moving into "talkies" and movies with sound and sound effects. The Foley Artist is crucial in creating realistic movies and adding additional depth to the film and eliciting reactions from the audience to the sound. Sound effects include the obvious like ambient music to set the tone (see the creaky gate opening in a scary movie) to the sound of punches, swords being drawn, squealing tires, bodies falling, bones breaking etc. Obviously, check this website under the "Films" tab for resources.
Your task, is to identify a sound that we have not discussed, find a video clip of the Foley artist making that sound, and for BONUS to demonstrate that method in class.
